Returning Students: REGISTRATION STARTS NOW!
Then, call the studio and...
1) leave your name and number
2) list the classes you want to enroll in
3) send in your $20 registration fee to reserve your spot
4) stop by FBC on August 30 & 31 from 4-8 for dance supplies
5) you will receive a confirmation call

New student Registration begins AUGUST 2nd
Stop by the office on Aug 2,3,4,5 & 9,10,11,12 from 4-8.
$20 Registration fee and first month’s tuition is due at time of enrollment. You can also buy your dance supplies at our store during that time, or stop back 8/30/10 & 8/31/10 from 4-8pm for dance supplies and registration. Note: we continue enrolling until February 1, 2011.

We accept Cash, Check and Visa/MC (a convenience fee will be charged for use of credit cards).

We are now enrolling for Summer!

If you are a new student, print-out the enrollment form, fill it out and send in the registration fee.
Either way, someone will call you back to confirm enrollment.

Saturday, June 5th is the last day of classes. June’s tuition is also due by June 5th.

Here’s a Checklist:
*Buy Tickets! Now on Sale. General Admission $11. May purchase at door too.
*Purchase Tights. Stop by the FBC store to make sure you have the right brand and color for each dance.
*Place Ad in Spring Show Program. Due May 31st.
*Order DVD. Must be PrePaid $35.
*Order Flowers... Don’t have too! Beautiful bouquets of roses and carnations to purchase before each show.
*Do you have a Spring Show Dress Rehearsal and Show sheet!

*DRESSING ROOM MOM’S NEEDED! We can not have a show without volunteers. EVERYONE should work in the dressing room at least 1 time in your child’s dancing career... you will realize how much work it takes to put on a show of this magnitude. You will also receive 1 FREE TICKET as a Thank-you for your help.
*Final Tuition Payment for June, due by the last class JUNE 5th. Tuition is full payment. Monthly tuition is averaged out for the year. Remember, the teachers need to by paid for Dress Rehearsal too... this counts as a class: )

FBC competed in their 3rd and final competition of the year this past weekend on May 22nd. Our soloists, Jessica Cornell & Heather Forrest received Gold! Rachael Surles and Ixchel Mendez received Hi-Gold. Teams Lyrical, Pom & Tap all received Hi- Gold. And Congratulations to Lyrical Trio team of Sydney O’Toole, Hayley Burton & Sara Rice for not only receiving Hi-Gold, but 1st place and 5th place Overall High score for their division. Thanks to our 2 wonderful Team Choreographers Amy Habel and Cherish Horton for all their hard-work.

Irish Students Attend Private Workshop With Riverdancers
On Saturday, April 17th over 45 of our Irish students had the
opportunity to attend a private workshop with the dancers from
"Riverdance" at the Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center.  Our students were
joined by 55 students from Richmond making a grand total of 100 students
at the worskhop. The instructors included Lead Dancer-Padraic Moyles,
Dance Captain: Maeve Croke and Troupe members:  Kevin Horton, Lisa
Murphy, and Craig Ashurst.  All the students received great feedback and
advice from the instructors on their dancing and also got to ask them
questions during the Q & A session.

That evening those that attended the 8:00pm show at the Landmark
Theater got to meet all the troupe members after the show to get
autographs and pictures!  It was a fun, inspiring day for our dancers
and one they will take with them forever!

FBC Competition Dance Teams in Pom, Tap and Lyrical all received Platinum! This is the highest level of award our teams have received thus far. The Platinum Awards did not end there, Rachel Surles received one for her Lyrical Solo and Ixchel Mendez received one for her Contemporary Solo. Ixchel also received a special award entitled, “Breathtaking.” The lyrical trio group of Hayley Burton, Sarah Rice and Syndey O’Toole received a High-Gold and special praise for their piece entitled “September 12th” from one of the judges stating the piece was full of “wonderful technique” and “original concept and choreography.” Amy Habel is the choreographer for this piece. Jazz soloist Heather Forrest received a Gold for her high spirited dance and Lyrical soloist Jessica Cornell showed improvement by receiving Gold as well.

Teen Ballet was asked to perform as an opening act at South Stafford School's Spring Show. The audience was filled with parents, teachers, elementary and kindergarten aged dancers eager to see the "sneak peak" of their dance they have been working on for Fredericksburg Ballet's Spring Show. The show took place the evening of March 29th, and they danced beautifully!
