Nutcracker 2006
September 25, 2006 11:05 AM
Congratulations to all 80 dancers who auditioned on
Saturday. This was the biggest year ever! Click here for the Nutcracker cast
list. Please pick-up a rehearsal schedule in
the office. Reminder: schedules will not be
posted on the web. Also, please check the
dry/wet eraser board in the office for any
changes- EVERY MONDAY. On a personal note... As
I stood in the room amid a sea of pink and
black, I observed my dancers performing a port
de bras combination that almost brought me to
tears. Tears of joy as I contemplated my 10th
year Anniversary... my 10 year as Owner, my 10th
Nutcracker. It has been an honor to work with so
many wonderful dancers, parents and siblings,
talented choreographers and teachers throughout
the years. So many people have dedicated their
time, energy, and creativity to ensure that the
magic of the Nutcracker will go on at FBC. I am
looking forward to the next 10. Love, Ms. Jen.

Booster club.
September 17, 2006 08:47 AM
FBC's Competition Dance Team raised money to pay for
fees and costumes this weekend by holding a Car Wash
at Merryman's Service Center in Downtown
Fredericksburg. Not only were the dancer's washing
cars, but their siblings and parents joined in on the
fun. It is estimated that 40+ cars were washed
between 9 am and 1:30 pm, including Ms Jen's car.
Many people just gave donations to support the girls.
In fact, I live right around the corner from
Merryman's and could hear the dancer's chanting,
shouting and singing "Car Wash!" This was the first
of many booster club fundraiser's to come. Thanks to
all the parents who got a little dirty and a lot wet!

Emails wanted.

Stop by the office and give us your email. In the
past, I relied on hand-outs and the infamous
"dry-wet" eraser board located in the office waiting
area to get out important information about what was
going on at FBC. I will still use the "dry-wet"
eraser board and hand-outs, but want another way to
get information out.
