May/June Tuition

This year’s Spring Recital is in the middle of June. We traditionally have held the Spring Recital over Memorial Day weekend. That means there are 3 more weeks of classes. (One is May, 2 in June) I have decided to prorate this years May/June tuition. I have made the calculations and the office staff has the tuition rate. If you paid the year, you will still receive the 10% discount on May/June’s tuition. If you paid January - May, you will receive the 5% discount on May/June’s tuition. I did not receive confirmation from the school for this years spring recital dates until October. Note: If your child is in Creative Movement, there is NO TUITION for June. The last class is the recital on May 16.

May/June’s tuition is due by JUNE 6.
The following week, we are at Massaponax High School for Dress Rehearsal.

Thank-You,
Ms Jen

Starbound Competition

DSCN4977On Saturday, March 28 the FBC’s Dance Team Competed in the Starbound National Competition in Woodbridge. All groups achieved “Gold.” Considering “High Gold” was the highest award given, an excellent start to this years competition season. The Pom Team also received a special judges award for “Awesome Accents.” The girls were sharp and sparkled with those pom poms! The Tap Team’s energy was high and scored 272 out of 300! Although the Competition was running late, the Tap Duo of Hayley Burton and Sara Rice and the Lyrical Duo of Heather Forrest and Jessica Cornell did not let all that waiting around affect them. The Duo’s both received “Gold.” Well done.

St Patrick's Day

st_patrick
32 members of FBC’s Irish Step program performed at Bowman Center’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration on Saturday, March 14th. The dancers jigged, reeled and performed figures in both ghillies (soft shoes) and hard shoes (tap). Levels I through V performed for about 1/2 hour and then braved the cold and drizzling rain and marched and danced their way through the parade. Despite the chilly weather, the turnout was great and the audience appreciative of the dancers performance. Way to go Ms Amy!
