FBC’s Contemporary classes performed for the residents at Wilbur Gardens on Saturday, January 23. Each year, the Contemporary classes under the direction of Bevery Mendez, visit Nursing Home’s in the area to share dances that they have worked on in their classes.

The FBC Dance Team went to Washington D.C. over the weekend to attend a dance workshop. The students had classes in Ballet, Jazz, Fusion Jazz, Contemporary, Rhythm Tap and Hip Hop. It was a wonderful learning experience. Students also auditioned for Scholarships for next years convention. Five FBC students made it past the first cut and congratulations to Dayna Richards who made it to the Finals. Here is a picture of the girls with Mr Joe Tremaine himself!
